Time for a few updates on the bob. Its sat like this for a while now. Theres been a new set of new bars and thats it. I stuck with a similar bend, as I like the way you can naturally sit on the bike with them. The next job is to source some throttle and clutch cables/assemblies, along with new coils. I’m not sure if my old coils are worth saving yet, Ill have to get them checked out. After that is the battery/electronics box which I’m still not sure on a direction yet. If I can’t find anything suitable off the shelf, I’ll look at making something from scratch. When starting this build I aimed to buy everything I could, in order to keep the build progressing as fast as possible. Once I got over the fact that I wouldn’t be riding it anytime soon, I’ve slowed down and focused more on enjoying it. I’d rather take my time and build the parts myself if I’m not able to buy them exactly as I want. I’ll be moving into a new space soon, so the priority will be getting the new shop set up initially but once that’s done, there should be a lot more progress on the builds.
